Update from Jocelyn Macharia (May 2010)
Posted: 17 May 10
I am fine and doing well, but very busy writing my research. We
had a good time with Poppy, her daughter and her grand children. I am
still carrying on with some of the activties to assist the community
in poverty eradication. I gave Poppy some of the reports and also
action photographs, whereby the youth are planting trees and rabbit
keeping. The widows are trying to keep daily goats, while the
disabled are also keeping rabbits. The challenges are their initial
capital to start off these projects but I have been encouraging them
to continue and they are making good progress. The third intensive
school is in August 2010. The school fees is ksh 83,000, this is
inclusive of boarding fees. I will keep you updated. May TNAP members
be blessed and have long life with good health. Thank you for your
continued support. I am challenged to give more assistance to the community than ever before.
Yours always in love,
Jocelyn
