Death of W.A. Maloney
W. A. (“Dub) Maloney, husband for 64 years of Katherine Maloney, whose aprons provided the inspiration for Gotcha Covered: A Legacy of Service and Protection, died on Sunday Feb. 20, 2011 in Johnson City, TN. He was 94 years of age. Except for the four years when he was in the U. S. Army during World War II, he spent his life working as a miller in the family owned Eureka Roller Mill, in Telford, TN, the town where he was born and where he will be buried. His services are planned for later this week. He and Katherine had no children, but he is remembered with joy by his six surviving nieces and nephews, and by hundreds of friends of all ages.
